jess vlaskic - Chair

Jess's commitment to the Business Women Albury Wodonga Committee is to upskill, motivate, and encourage the business community on the border. She is dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment for women across all industries and career stages, believing strongly in BWAW's role in empowering local women.

As the NSW Regional Manager at BUSY At Work, Jess oversees a statewide team that supports local employers in growing their businesses. With over 15 years of experience in Management, Business Advising, Recruitment, Local Government, and Construction, she also co-runs her family-owned construction business with her husband, understanding firsthand the highs and lows of owning and running a small business in Albury Wodonga. A lifelong learner, Jess is always seeking new knowledge to share, contributing positively to her community's growth and success.

Lisa grey - Deputy Chair

Lisa is a qualified insolvency practitioner, rare among women in Australia. As the Director of CB Debt Consultancy, a debt management service established over 15 years ago, Lisa is passionate about guiding individuals through financial difficulties, Her commitment to aiding individuals through financial hardship intertwines with her dedication to prioritising mental health and well-being. Her passion lies in assisting clients during the most challenging of times and developing solutions to suit their situation.

Beyond her professional dedication, Lisa enjoys socialising, travelling and attending various sporting events, with a particular love for supporting the St Kilda Football Club. Lisa joined Business Women Albury Wodonga with a clear vision: to foster connections by creating networks that encourage collaboration, knowledge sharing, and mentorship opportunities among women. She aims to drive initiatives and provide support to empower other women within the community, ensuring they thrive both professionally and personally.

MEL HARMER - Deputy Chair

Melinda is an experienced financial adviser with over a decade of expertise in wealth management, investment planning, and client-centered financial strategies. As a committee member of Business Women Albury Wodonga, she is passionate about empowering women and to support the growth of women-led businesses. Melinda is committed to fostering a collaborative environment where women in business can thrive, learn, and grow. When she’s not advising clients, Melinda enjoys spending time with her family and friends, attending concerts and contributing to community projects.

Angela Larkin

Angela works as a Recruitment Officer at Intereach Albury and runs her own event business, Sisley Services. In her spare time, you’ll find Angela socialising with friends, walking her dog Eddie and spending time with her family. She joined the BWAW committee to play an active part in and to contribute to the Albury Wodonga business community. Passionate about empowering women in business, Angela loves to create meaningful opportunities to connect, learn and grow. Angela is dedicated to making sure people feel welcome and comfortable at our events.

Jenn Donovan

Jenn is a rural marketing powerhouse, podcaster, speaker, and fierce supporter of women in business. She’s the founder of Social Media and Marketing Australia, host of the Small Business Made Simple podcast (ranked in the top 1% globally), and the big-hearted brain behind the viral Facebook group Buy From a Bush Business and co-founder of Spend With Us — a marketplace born to keep regional Aussie businesses alive, so far injecting more than 10 million back into the rural economy. With a belief that community is everything, Jenn’s on a mission to simplify marketing and amplify the voices of rural and regional business owners. She sits proudly on the board of The Rural Woman and Greatest Good, and now brings her straight-talking, no-fluff, community-first energy to the Business Women Albury Wodonga Committee. Jenn is also a farmer’s wife, mum to three adult children, and very proud MaMa to Ava Mae.

judie hudson

Judie is proud to be joining the Business Women Albury Wodonga Committee, bringing with her over 30 years of experience in corporate roles spanning account management and leadership across a broad range of industries. Alongside her corporate career, Judie has a strong foundation in small business, with hands-on experience in start-ups and as the passionate co-owner of Hair and Beauty Solutions and Studio Margot & Co—a hair and beauty product business and boutique salon operating across both Albury and Wodonga. She also holds a key relationship role with BUSY At Work, supporting apprenticeships and local workforce development. A busy single mum to an angel baby and three energetic, sport-loving children, Judie brings high energy, humour, resilience, and a deep sense of community to everything she does. She understands that success takes a village—and is dedicated to building and growing that village for women in business across the border.
