YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO
DO BUSINESS ALONE

Running a business can be rewarding, exciting, and deeply fulfilling, but it can also be lonely, overwhelming, and exhausting at times.

Business Women Albury Wodonga (BWAW) exists so women in business across our region don’t have to figure it all out on their own.
We’re here to create a welcoming, supportive space where women can connect, share real conversations, and build meaningful relationships, not just swap business cards.
If you’re looking for community, encouragement, and women who truly get it, you’re in the right place.

A community built on connection, not competition

Business Women Albury Wodonga brings together women from all stages of business, across industries, roles, and experiences.
Some are just starting out.
Some are growing established businesses.
Some are leading teams, juggling family, or reinventing their careers.
What connects us isn’t what we do, it’s how we support one another.
Through events, conversations, and shared experiences, BWAW creates opportunities for women to feel seen, supported, and inspired to keep going.

Supporting women in business since 2009

BWAW was formed in 2009 to specifically address the needs of women in business across the Albury Wodonga region.
We are an initiative of Albury Business Connect and Business Wodonga, working together to strengthen the local business community by supporting and empowering women.
Over the years, BWAW has grown into a trusted and inclusive network, known for fostering genuine connection, professional growth, and lasting relationships.

Our purpose

Our vision is to contribute to a thriving local business community by empowering women through:
  • connection and community

  • meaningful events and conversations

  • communication and shared learning

  • support that reflects the real needs of women in business

We’re passionate about creating an environment where women feel confident, encouraged, and supported to grow, not just in business, but as leaders, decision-makers, and contributors to our region.
